Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Development (JETSD) undergo a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process. This process ensures unbiased and fair evaluation, promoting integrity and quality in scholarly publications.

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: Authors remain anonymous to reviewers, and reviewers' identities are not disclosed to authors.

  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts specializing in the relevant research area.

  • The decision regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection is based upon reviewers' recommendations and feedback.

  • The Editor-In-Chief (EIC) makes the final editorial decision, considering reviewers' comments and editorial board insights.

  • Associate Editors and Review Editors provide administrative oversight, ensuring transparency and rigor in the review process.

  • Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewer suggestions before final acceptance.

  • Any form of canvassing or influencing editorial decisions will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript.

  • The typical duration for manuscript review is approximately 45 working days from the date of reviewer assignment.
